Four of the six passengers, including the pilot, were found alive on Sunday after the Russian plane crashed in Badakhshan province, in northeastern Afghanistan, the Taliban government announced.

The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya), citing the Russian embassy in Afghanistan, said that the hidden Falcon 10 plane was found by local search and rescue teams.
Earlier, Russian aviation officials said the plane with six passengers was a chartered flight from India to Moscow from Uzbekistan. Russian authorities said the plane, a Dassault Falcon 10 manufactured in France and registered in the country, stopped on the radar screen in Afghanistan on Saturday evening.
